Alex Studio: privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-08

Alex Studio makes documentary films for its own YouTube channel and shares short clips from them on its own Instagram account and its own Facebook Page. This page describes the Alex Studio app, the studio's own software, and the data it handles.

YouTube API Services

The Alex Studio app uses YouTube API Services. When you watch or interact with the studio's videos on YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service apply: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

How Google handles data is described in the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

What the app does

The app acts only on the studio's own accounts. It does not ask viewers to sign in, and it never acts on anyone else's account.

What it collects, uses and keeps

Who else sees it

The studio's software uses Anthropic's Claude service to read and summarise these statistics and comments for the studio. Nothing is shared with anyone else, used for advertising, or sold.

How to remove access

The app works only with the studio's own accounts. If you have ever given any app access to your Google account, you can see and remove that access here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

For apps connected to Facebook or Instagram, use Settings, then Apps and websites: https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications

Questions about privacy

Send privacy questions through this form: https://forms.gle/1TqgH9VXmaCcUt9Y6

The form asks for your message and, only if you want an answer, a reply address you choose to give. Messages arrive in the studio's own Google account, where only the studio's owner reads them. Each message is deleted once it has been answered, and after 90 days at most.
